BC and Beyond takes travel snaps to Tsawwassen

Karen Pacheco and Karoline Cullen, the travel photographers and writers, are offering their travel photography exhibit, BC and Beyond, at Tsawwassen Arts Centre till 10th Feb. Pachecos concern in visual arts started with media studies at the SFU.

Her love for travel photography was tightened when handed a Pentax SP 1000 before a years Europe, Middle East as well as Africa trip in the mid-70s.

Karen Pachecos career as an instructor ended with an appointment in Shenzhen, China, letting for Asian travel scopes.

Since that time, she has devoted all her time to photography as well as freelance writing. And her very recent travels include Hawaii, the Canadian Maritimes, western United States national parks as well as south-eastern United States.

Pacheco is a member of B.C. Association of Travel Writers, Canadian Association for Photographic Art and Delta Photo Club. Many of her photographs have won awards. Her work could be seen at: http://northohana.zenfolio.com/.

Photography has been a real passion for Cullen. In fact, even when she was an instructor at kinesiology department of Langara, Canadian Holographic Developments managing director, or Delta Gymnastics founder and coach, photography was an interest always.

Now struck out from all these things, she focuses on photography. Staying part time on the Galiano Island, she prefers clicking pictures of the abundant nature there. She still backs the Delta Gymnastics by giving snaps of events and gymnasts.
